Riff off an old classic The Last Word, this interpretation introduces delicious bittersweet orange flavors with undertones of caramel and smooth bourbon. Such a fun twist makes for a fantastic new cocktail! Cheers!

Equipment

  • 1 Boston Shaker
  • 1 Jigger
  • 1 Hawthorne Strainer
  • 1 Fine Mesh Cocktail Strainer
  • 1 Citrus Juicer
  • 1 Coupe Glass

Ingredients

  • ¾ oz Bourbon
  • ¾ oz Aperol
  • ¾ oz Amaro Nonino
  • ¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice

Instructions

  • Make sure your coupe glass is chilling in the freezer 15-30 minutes prior to making cocktail
  • In small tin add all ingredients
  • In large tin add ice
  • Combine tins, form a seal, and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds
  • Break seal and double strain cocktail into chilled coupe glass
  • Garnish with a mini paper airplane for fun!
  • Enjoy!
