This cocktail is everything you want to sip on a hot summer day! Full of fresh flavors, juices, and more! This gin based cocktail will have you in a permanent state of Summer vacation. Cheers!

Equipment

  • 1 Boston Shaker
  • 1 Jigger
  • 1 Citrus Juicer
  • 1 Hawthorne Strainer
  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Nut Milk Bag
  • 1 Muddler
  • 1 Y Peeler
  • 1 Collins glass

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz Gin
  • 2 ½ oz Fresh Watermelon Juice
  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ½ oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 Large Leaf of Basil
  • 1 dash Cucumber Bitters
  • 1 splash Club Soda

Instructions

  • Have your collins glass chilling in the fridge for 15-30 minutes prior to making cocktail
  • In small tin add 1 large leaf of basil and simple syrup
  • Muddle the leaf lightly in the syrup
  • Add gin, fresh lemon juice, fresh watermelon juice, and cucumber bitters into the small tin
  • In large tin add ice
  • Combine tins, form a seal, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds
  • In chilled glass add cucumber ribbon garnish spiraling around inside of glass
  • Add ice into glass, that will hold the cucumber ribbon in place
  • Break seal on tins, and strain into chilled glassware
  • Top off the cocktail with a splash of Club Soda
  • Optionally Garnish with a slice of fresh watermelon resting on top of cocktail
