Aperol Spritz

Equipment

  • 1 Bar Jigger
  • 1 Bar spoon
  • 1 Wine Glass

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Aperol
  • 3 oz Prosecco
  • 3 oz Soda Water
  • 2 dashes Cardamom Bitters
  • 1 sprig Thyme
  • 1 half-wheel Orange

Instructions

  • In empty wine glass, add 2 dashes of Cardamom Bitters
  • Splash bitters with a dash of soda water
  • Add ice into wine glass
  • Add 2 oz of Aperol into wine glass
  • Add 3 oz of Prosecco into wine glass
  • Fill remainder of glass with soda water
  • Take bar spoon and give the cocktail 3-4 "lifts" to make sure it is well mixed. ( instructions in blog post)
  • Insert half-wheel of orange into cocktail
  • Give your sprig of Thyme a good slap and insert it into the top of your cocktail
  • Enjoy!
